Teacher Biographies:
Gilda Ganezer is a culturally Deaf professor & co-creator, singer, songwriter, director/producer, dancer & sign model for a series of ASL DVDs at Everyday ASL Productions in New York. With 30 years of ASL & interpreter training/teaching experience & running an American Sign Language educational company, Ms. Ganezer has trained teachers & ASL researchers the fundamentals of the language. She has also developed & utilized ASL & idioms curriculum for colleges & universities. Ms. Ganezer is a master trainer on the methods of teaching ASL/English idioms & phrases with signing accuracies & precision (i.e. exhibiting ‘accents’ while expressing). For a number of years, Ms. Ganezer has also taught at accredited ASL courses at Long Island University at C.W. Post. Gilda is a co-founder of Everyday ASL Productions, Ltd.
Avery Posner is a Certified Deaf Interpreter - Provisional (CDI-P) & worked for the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) as a consultant & is certified in Sign Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI) rater training program offered by Gallaudet University since 1995.
